Privacy policy
Folio reads store data from Shopify to show sales, tax, inventory, and customer reports inside the Shopify admin. It does not add anything to the online store and does not track buyers.
What we receive from Shopify
Orders, products, inventory, and customers, only with the permissions the merchant approves. Reports are calculated when you open them or when a scheduled email is sent. Those order and customer records are not copied into our database. The top customers report shows the customer name that Shopify already stores.
What we store
- The shop session needed to keep the app installed.
- Email schedules: the address you type, the report, and how often to send it.
- The accountant email for month close, if you save one.
- Which columns you chose to show.
Scheduled reports and the month-close workbook are sent through Resend to the address you enter. The message contains the file you asked for.
How long we keep it
We delete the shop session, schedules, month-close email, and column choices when the app is uninstalled and when Shopify asks us to redact the shop.
